The Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation has recognised more than 130 civil servants through the Emily Aig-Imoukhuede Memorial Award since 2022, while its Memorial Lecture promotes values-driven leadership and institutional reform. In a joint interview with James Emejo, Foundation Chairman Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede and Executive Vice-Chair Ofovwe Aig-Imoukhuede discussed recognition, leadership and institutional culture. The award marks its fifth year in 2026. The foundation heads said government is ultimately judged by what it delivers rather than by its promises.
