Osaghae’s Widow Still Awaits Justice Two Years On

Fidelis Osaghae, a 33-year-old restaurant manager, left his home in the early hours of July 29, 2024, telling his young wife he would return shortly, but never came back. His widow, Esther, later received a telephone call directing her to a hospital in Afashio, Edo State, and sent her elder sister, Mrs. Mabel Akhagbemhe, to find out what had happened. More than two years on, conflicting forensic findings have left the circumstances of his death unresolved. Esther continues to await justice for her husband.
