Renowned public relations practitioner Dr Nkechi Ali-Balogun, who recently turned 70, shared her career milestones and reflected on her journey, achievements and impact in an interview. She recounted how an encounter with a boastful man who had just returned from Europe with a PhD became a defining moment for her after secondary school, though she forgot the promise she made to herself until she turned 60. That realisation in 2016 began a journey to earn her doctorate, which lasted longer than expected due to ASUU strikes and COVID. Ali-Balogun has built a flourishing career spanning over three decades and contributed to the growth and practice of public relations.
