His Royal Highness Kile Selky Torughedi, a former agitator and royal father in Azuzu Ama, Southern Ijaw, Bayelsa State, has appealed to stakeholders in the Niger Delta to stop bickering and unite for development. In a statement, he expressed worry that abandoned causes and disagreements risk blurring the vision for regional development. He urged all parties to relegate personal interests and come together to pursue common goals. Torughedi warned that losing sight of the goal of attracting development would fail future generations.
