Two Years After N22bn Renovation, VP’s Residence Abandoned

Nearly two years after its completion and handover by the FCTA under Nyesom Wike, Vice President Kashim Shettima has not moved into his official residence. The project, located in Abuja's Three Arms Zone, was commissioned by President Bola Tinubu on June 7, 2024, at a final cost of about N21 billion. Originally awarded in 2010 for N7 billion, it was abandoned for years before being revived. The delay has raised questions about the utilization of the multi-billion-naira facility.
