Kwara Tax Compliance Rises as IGR Hits N92bn from N69.19bn, Taxpayer Records Cross 1.4m — KWIRS

Kwara State's Internally Generated Revenue increased from N69.19 billion in 2024 to N92.19 billion in 2025, according to the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service. The Executive Chairman, Shade Omoniyi, said taxpayer records grew from fewer than 50,000 to over 1.4 million. She spoke before the commissioning of the new 11-storey Revenue House in Ilorin. The development reflects growing taxpayer compliance and efforts to ease tax administration.
