The Kaduna Geographic Information Service (KADGIS) has reinstated over 150 land titles that were unjustly revoked during former Governor Nasir El-Rufai's administration and resolved more than 5,000 land disputes. Director General Dr Bashir Garba Ibrahim said Governor Uba Sani directed the agency to resolve inherited cases. KADGIS has introduced reforms including registration and accreditation of land agents and requiring NIN and BVN for land title processing, and has provided alternative plots to communities displaced in Alhudahuda Zaria after 92 houses were demolished in 2015.
