The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare of military personnel, in line with the Chief of Defence Staff's command philosophy. Major General Samaila Uba explained that the delayed payment of allowances to troops returning from international operations in Sudan, The Gambia, and Guinea-Bissau is due to funds not yet received from the relevant organizations. He emphasized that personnel welfare remains a top priority.
