Nigeria is seeking to strengthen economic, trade, investment, and innovation partnerships with Sweden and other Nordic countries. Ambassador Lola Akande presented her Letters of Credence to King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, marking the start of her diplomatic tenure with concurrent accreditation to Denmark, Finland, and Norway. She pledged to pursue a close and results-driven relationship between Nigeria and Sweden.
