The Cadillac Optiq is the cheapest electric vehicle in GM's luxury lineup, with a base trim starting just under $50,000. A test drive of the 2026 Optiq Premium Sport over about 400 miles showed that its elegant design and supple ride make it a proper Cadillac. While not the fastest EV, the Optiq delivers a convincing entry point into Cadillac's EV offerings. However, some interior materials are not up to par with the brand's usual standards.
