Court overturns judgement ordering NDC’s deregistration

The Court of Appeal has overturned a previous judgement that ordered the deregistration of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). In June, the Federal High Court in Lokoja, Kogi State, had set aside its earlier judgement directing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to register the NDC as a political party. The appellate court's decision now reverses that ruling, allowing the NDC to remain registered.
