Kingsley Femi Fanwo, Commissioner for Information and Communications in Kogi State, has said that President Bola Tinubu will defeat Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and other candidates in Kogi State in the 2027 general elections. Fanwo attributed this to the strong interventions of the Tinubu administration in the state, alongside the performance of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo. He noted that federal government interventions in infrastructure, security, transportation, economic development, and strategic investments have created tangible reasons for the people to appreciate the Tinubu administration. Fanwo made the remarks while assessing the growing relationship between the Federal Government and the Kogi State Government, citing the reconstruction of major federal highways, support for security operations, and development of strategic economic infrastructure as factors strengthening the partnership between Abuja and Lokoja.
