The Cross River State government is planning to establish ranching and livestock clusters to address farmer-herder conflicts. Liyel Imoukhuede, Special Adviser to Governor Bassey Otu on Livestock Development, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Calabar. The initiative aims to curb the recurring clashes between farmers and herders in the state.
