Craig Celek, 56, left a retail position to become a flight attendant in February 2026. He had previously worked in publishing in Hong Kong and in leadership roles at New Balance and Saks Off 5th. He described the career change as his "third act" and said his age brought life experience and a strong work ethic to the role. He noted that many of his friends in their late 40s and 50s are also flight attendants.
