The Olori Ebi of the Fusengbuwa Ruling House, Otunba Abdulateef Owoyemi, accused the Ogun State Government of sponsoring individuals within the family to frustrate the selection process for the Awujale. The allegation concerns the ongoing process to select a new Awujale of Ijebuland. The state government has not publicly responded to the accusation.
