A wedding ceremony took place in Kano where Major-General Samaila Uba, the military spokesman, gave out his two daughters in marriage. The event, held at Alfurqan Mosque, was attended by serving and retired generals, including representatives of the Chief of Defence Staff and Chief of Naval Staff. The ceremony commenced at 11:02am and drew top military officials from the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
