The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) has responded to the recent increase in petrol prices. The agency said it is aware of the financial pressure caused by the rise. It maintained that it does not fix pump prices under Nigeria's deregulated petroleum market.
