Trabzonspor have appointed former Germany international Thomas Reis as their new head coach. The Turkish club confirmed the appointment on Thursday following the resignation of Fatih Tekke earlier this month. Reis, 52, played alongside Nigerian legend Austin 'Jay-Jay' Okocha at Eintracht Frankfurt in the 1990s. At Trabzonspor, he will oversee Nigerian forwards Paul Onuachu and Chibuike Nwaiwu. Reis returns to Turkish football after a spell with Samsunspor from 2024 to 2026.
