The Debriefing, a publisher of corporate profiles, has released the second edition in a series of long-form histories of companies shaping Nigeria's economy. The publication, titled 'Board Games: White Knights and Dark Strategies at Seplat Energy,' tells the story of Nigeria's largest independent oil company, including how it was built and scaled, how control passed from its founders to Tony Elumelu, and its plans under new chief executive Effiong Okon to grow output by half. The publisher said the deals, personalities and performance of major Nigerian companies rarely have their stories told whole.
