Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has remained silent more than four days after the state leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) issued a statement aligning with the Rainbow Coalition, despite the Progressive Governors' Forum (PGF) dissociating itself from the coalition's activities. A call to the governor's media aide, Onwuka Nzechi, was not responded to. There are mixed reactions among APC members in Rivers State over the party's decision to continue aligning with the Rainbow Coalition. A former member of the House of Representatives, speaking with LEADERSHIP Sunday in Port Harcourt, commented on the situation.
