Major-General Samaila Uba, spokesman of the Nigerian military, gave out his two daughters in marriage in Kano, with many serving and retired generals in attendance. The wedding fathia took place at Alfurqan Mosque on Alu Avenue, Nasarawa G.R.A., Kano, starting at about 11:02 am. Top echelons from the Navy, Army, and Air Force were present, including representatives of the Chief of Defence Staff and Chief of Naval Staff. Former Army spokesman Brigadier-General Sani Kukasheka Usman and other senior officers also attended.
