NDC Disowns Presidential Campaign Council

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has disassociated itself from the announcement of the Obi-Kwankwaso Movement Presidential Campaign Council. The movement had unveiled a 59-member campaign council ahead of the 2027 general elections, with Director-General John Ughulu and National Secretary Saadatu Sani leading the team. However, NDC National Chairman Senator Cleopas Moses stated that only the party's leadership can constitute and announce a Presidential Campaign Council, and urged the public and media to disregard the announcement.
