Conflicting accounts continue to trail the deaths of 37 suspected illegal artisanal miners who died in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Minna, Niger State. Over 40 miners also died in pit collapses in Kogi and Taraba states. Atiku, APM, SDP, MBF, and CSOs have expressed outrage and called for transparency in the probe.
