Content creator Tabsyluv raises alarm over identity theft, fake accounts

Nigerian content creator and influencer Tabitha Umar, known as Tabsyluv on Instagram, has raised an alarm over identity theft. She reported that fraudsters are using her pictures and identity to create fake accounts and deceive people online. Umar, who is currently serving in Abuja under the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), issued a public disclaimer after being contacted by individuals accusing her of defrauding them. She stated that impostors had been using her photos to create accounts and interact with people, and that some victims believed she was responsible for the fraudulent activities.
