The Anambra State Police Command arrested a 22-year-old woman named Nwachukwu Blessing in connection with an alleged self-kidnapping scheme. According to police reports, Blessing conspired with a female associate identified as Onyinye and another male accomplice to stage her own kidnapping. The family of the suspect reportedly paid a ransom of N3 million before her arrest. The police are treating the case as one of conspiracy, fraud, and suspected self-kidnapping.
