The Commerce and Industry Correspondents Association of Nigeria (CICAN), Abuja chapter, has strengthened its ties with the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) ahead of its 20th anniversary celebration. The development followed a courtesy visit by members of the CICAN anniversary planning committee to the ACCI, where they formally invited its First Deputy President, Prof. Adesoji Adesugba, to deliver the keynote address at the anniversary. Adesugba, a former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA), also pledged to mobilise corporate support for the celebration through his position at the chamber. CICAN chairman, Gabriel Kuma, disclosed this after the meeting, saying the visit was aimed at strengthening the relationship between the association and the chamber.
