The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intensified its operations against drug barons across Nigeria. In recent raids across several states and the Federal Capital Territory, the agency intercepted over 1.3 million pills of tramadol and other opioids, as well as about 6,000kg of cannabis. The combined street value of the seized drugs is estimated at more than N3.4 billion.
