Enugu state-owned airline, Enugu Air, has concluded plans to introduce direct flights between Enugu and Douala, Cameroon. The service, which would operate twice weekly, on Mondays and Wednesdays, would enable passengers from Lagos and Abuja to connect via Enugu. Chief Operating Officer of Enugu Air, Mr Ugonna Agubuokwu, said the new route was designed to bring businesses, families and opportunities closer together. He added that flights from Enugu are scheduled to depart at 12:45 p.m., arriving in Douala at 1:45 p.m., with the return service departing Douala at 2:30 p.m. and arriving in Enugu at 3:30 p.m., allowing connections from Lagos and Abuja.
