Hon Musa Wakili Nakwada, the Chief Whip of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, has withdrawn from the 2027 general elections. In a personally signed letter, he announced his withdrawal as the flag bearer for the Bogoro Constituency under the Allied People's Movement. Nakwada, a second-term member, stated he accepted the decision as the will of God and appealed to his supporters to do the same.
