Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has broken a record previously held by Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior by becoming the youngest player to reach 50 assists in La Liga since the 2013/14 season. Yamal reached the milestone at the age of 19 years and 68 days, with his tally now standing at 51 assists in 159 official appearances for Barcelona. According to Spanish newspaper Sport, he marked the achievement with two assists in Barcelona's 3-1 victory over Sevilla, setting up Raphinha twice as the Brazilian completed a hat-trick. The result maintained Barcelona's perfect start to the season and kept Hansi Flick's side at the top of the table.
