Campaign Council: We Can’t Be Intimidated, Apologise To Us, OK Movement Tells NDC

The Obi-Kwankwaso Movement has responded to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), insisting that it cannot be intimidated. The NDC had dissociated itself from the announcement of the Obi-Kwankwaso Movement Presidential Campaign Council (PCC). The National Chairman of the NDC, Senator Cleopas Moses, said in a statement that only the party's leadership could constitute and announce a Presidential Campaign Council. However, the Obi-Kwankwaso Movement said the party whose presidential and vice-presidential candidates, Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, it is working to support had misunderstood the character, structure, independence, and constitutional foundation of the movement. In a statement signed by its National Secretary, Saadatu Sani, the movement asked the NDC National Chairman to familiarise himself with the constitution of his own party before making sweeping assertions.
