In an opinion piece, Mustapha Musa, PhD, writes that societies are governed by laws that create institutions, set boundaries, define relationships between government arms and tiers, and regulate conduct. He notes that Senator Uba Sani, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, is conversant with the law, having been a civil rights and pro-democracy activist, a Presidential Adviser and Political Adviser, and a Senator. Musa states that in 2023, the people of Kaduna State voted for Sani to practise what he had been preaching.
