Barcelona are planning a special tribute for club legend Lionel Messi when the renovated Spotify Camp Nou is completed in 2028. Club president Joan Laporta confirmed the plan during the club's General Assembly on Saturday, stating that the tribute will take place once the stadium is completed. Messi spent nearly two decades at Barcelona after joining as a teenager, becoming the most decorated player in the club's history. He left in 2021 after the club was unable to renew his contract and later joined Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent before moving to Inter Miami.
