Lagos-Calabar Highway: Ilaje, Itsekiri leaders reject Umahi’s rerouting

Leaders from Ilaje communities in Ondo State and Itsekiri communities in Delta State have jointly rejected the alleged rerouting of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway. They agreed to oppose the diversion of the highway from the coastal corridor to inland communities. The resolution was made at a joint meeting of representatives from both ethnic nationalities.
