Bye-Elections: Yilwatda commends INEC, security agencies

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission and security agencies for their conduct during five legislative bye-elections held last Saturday. In a statement posted on his X handle, Yilwatda congratulated the four APC candidates who won their respective seats. The winners include Hon. Kallamu Usman MaiJama’a for Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency, Hon. Husseini Datti for Dawakin Kudu State Constituency, Hon. Okolosi Ator for Udu State Constituency, and Hon. Yakubu Ali for Disina State Constituency. Yilwatda said the victories reflect the confidence placed in the party’s candidates and the APC by the electorate.
