The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has called on former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to explain his petrol subsidy plan. The council referred to a statement by the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) that it does not ordinarily fix pump prices or issue administrative price templates except under statutory conditions. The APC PCC is seeking clarification on Atiku's proposed subsidy approach.
