2027: Aondoakaa pledges 100,000 jobs yearly, vows end to thuggery in Benue

Chief Michael Aondoakaa, SAN, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Benue State, has pledged to create at least 100,000 jobs annually for young people if elected governor in the 2027 election. He also promised to tackle political thuggery by expanding economic opportunities for youths and providing financial support through cooperatives, entrepreneurship schemes, and other empowerment initiatives. Aondoakaa, a former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, made these commitments while addressing commercial motorcycle operators, known as Okada riders, who welcomed him back to Makurdi. The riders accompanied him in a procession from the Agan Toll Gate into the state capital.
