Gunmen attacked Lafagu village in Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State on Sunday, killing the village head. The Kebbi State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bashir Usman, confirmed the killing in a text message but did not disclose the identity of the deceased. Usman stated that some arrests have been made in connection with the incident and that further details would be provided later. However, residents expressed uncertainty about whether the attackers were bandits or members of an armed ethnic militia.
