Meta has released a TV advertisement for Muse, its personal AI agent, as it pushes AI agents into the mainstream. Muse can act on a user's behalf, sending emails, purchasing things online, and handling other tasks. The ad marks the latest sign that AI agents, once mostly used by Silicon Valley coders to increase work efficiency, are now being welcomed into the home. Despite fears about AI agents going rogue, the technology continues to generate hype, with investor Sheel Mohnot commenting on X that the appeal of such agents is not limited to Silicon Valley types.
