The Chinese Embassy in Namibia hosted a reception on September 15 to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. More than 300 guests attended the event, including H.E. Dr. Nangolo Mbumba, 4th President of the Republic of Namibia, Hon. Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, Minister of International Relations and Trade, Hon. Phillipus Katamelo, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, and other dignitaries. In his remarks, Ambassador Zhao Weiping highlighted the remarkable achievements of Chinese modernization and its significant contribution to global economic growth and the improvement of global governance.
