OK Movement demands apology from NDC chairman

The OK Movement, a political platform supporting the joint presidential ticket of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate Peter Obi and his running mate Rabiu Kwankwaso, has demanded an apology from the party's National Chairman, Senator Moses Cleopas. The demand follows Cleopas' comments on the movement's 59-member Presidential Campaign Council. In a statement issued in Abuja, the movement's National Secretary, Saadatu Sani, described Cleopas' position as unfortunate and reflective of a misunderstanding of the movement's independent character and structure.
