Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has demanded an explanation from President Bola Tinubu regarding his third consecutive absence from the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Atiku questioned whether Tinubu's history with United States authorities has become a burden on Nigeria's foreign relations. He noted that Tinubu missed the 79th, 80th, and ongoing 81st UNGA sessions, with Vice President Kashim Shettima representing Nigeria each time. Atiku argued that the pattern can no longer be dismissed as routine delegation.
