Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State described the Nigerian Education Loan Fund as a significant intervention that expanded access to higher education for Nigerian students. According to a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad, the governor spoke at Al-Istiqama University's 2nd and 3rd combined convocation ceremony in Sumaila. He said the initiative gives students and parents more opportunities to finance tertiary education and reduces financial barriers for qualified young Nigerians. Yusuf also expressed appreciation to the Federal Government under President Bola Tinubu for its support to the education sector.
