Troops of Operation Enduring Peace conducted separate operations in Plateau State, rescuing two kidnapped victims and arresting 12 suspects. According to Captain Polycarp Oteh, the operations were based on credible intelligence and took place in various parts of the state. In one operation, troops raided suspected criminal hideouts in Shere, Gwafan, and Maza Hills, leading to the arrest of 11 suspects. Intelligence from the two victims, abducted from Gwafan Community on September 18, assisted the operation.
