Former Abia State Governor and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has mourned the death of former Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, who died in the United Kingdom at the age of 77. In a condolence statement, Kalu described Idris as an accomplished businessman, political leader, and statesman who devoted his life to public service and the development of Kogi State. He noted that Idris's contributions to Nigeria's democratic development would remain an important part of his legacy.
