The Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND) and the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) have called for sustained efforts to strengthen governance and improve the implementation of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) for host communities. The call was made during a meeting aimed at enhancing the PIA's impact on host communities.
