The Berom Youths Moulder-Association (BYM) has raised an alarm over possible attacks on Berom communities in Barkin Ladi, Riyom and Jos South Local Government Areas of Plateau State, directing residents to remain on red alert. The warning followed renewed attacks in parts of the state which reportedly left nine persons dead, including passengers and a pastor, heightening tension across affected communities. In a security alert issued on Sunday evening, President of the association, Dalyop Solomon Mwantiri, said intelligence available to the organisation indicated a possible threat to Berom villages and communities across the three local government areas. The statement urged residents to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions.
