Obidient Movt: We’ll no longer watch thugs attack Nigerians during election or campaign

The Obidient Movement has warned that it will no longer tolerate attacks on Nigerians or its members during campaigns or elections. Dr. Yunusa Tanko, leader of the Movement, made the statement while reacting to an attack on members of the Nigeria Democratic Congress during the One Million Man March in Warri, Delta State, on Friday, September 18, 2026. He said the NDC candidate for Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, had alleged that armed men attacked his convoy in Delta, leaving six NDC members injured. Tanko said the Movement was putting all groups of thugs on notice that Obidients and Nigerians would no longer sit back while political thugs attack citizens exercising their democratic rights.
