The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has set up a team to investigate former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Attorney-General Abubakar Malami, and others named in an International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) ruling on the Mambilla deal. A review of the tribunal's award showed that many Nigerian politicians and individuals who held public offices were named as associates or officials who had dealings with Mr Adesanya. The EFCC's investigation follows the ICC ruling.
