Dr Alim Abubakre has been awarded Academic Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) after meeting the institute's academic membership criteria. He is now entitled to use the designatory letters Academic FCIPD. The recognition comes as organisations face complex networks of stakeholders and rapid technological change. TEXEM, which advocates executive learning, argues that better-informed leaders make better decisions, which in turn strengthen institutions and create conditions for progress.
